From dish to dirt, in one scoop.

When a sprout is ready, they scoop it out — spoon, sprout, and its little blob of gel together — and drop it into a hole in the soil. The gel rides along and keeps the roots safe on the trip.

After week 8

Then grow it all again.

The harvest isn’t the end — the pot reruns from seed. And your child has already done it once: the radish resows in week 4, so season two holds no fear.

What parents ask us

Where should the garden live?

Anywhere you like. The built-in grow light gives all three plants a perfect day even in a windowless room — a sunny sill works too, but it's optional.

Can my child really do this alone?

That's the design brief. Watering is one printed instruction — “fill it to the line.” The lab book is picture-first, the soil discs drop straight into the pots, and every sprouting dish is labeled per plant. Ages 4–5 may want company on planting day (it's a nice day to share); 6+ typically run everything solo. You are never required equipment.

How long does the whole thing take?

First sprouts in 1–2 days. Planting in week one. The mimosa starts doing its trick within weeks, the radish harvest lands around week five, and the snap peas around week eight. Daily involvement is 5–15 minutes — short enough for a 4-year-old's attention, long enough to become a habit.

Is this a subscription?

No. $139, once, everything included. Refill packs exist when your child wants a second season — you buy them if and when you want them.

What ages is it right for?

Designed and safety-tested for ages 4–8 (ASTM F963 children's product standards). Younger siblings can watch; the small seeds are the reason for the 4+ line. Plenty of 9–10-year-olds love it too — they just graduate to the expansion packs faster.
